Wayne State University - Drawing 1 & 2 - Fall 2017 and Winter 2018
Cesar Chavez Academy High School - 2018 & 2019
In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, students at Cesar Chavez Academy, created paper-mâché skulls. We worked with the Spanish Language Culture class to erect an ofrenda or altar in honor of the Day of the Dead.
A class of twenty-nine students worked together to create a mural for the Cesar Chavez Day of Service. The lesson plan was built around seeing and interpreting value. Each student worked on a small, individual square and we put the pieces together, like a puzzle, to make a large-scale painting.
